Laanhof Victorian House is a guest house with self catering option, providing accommodation in Stellenbosch for anyone visiting the Cape Winelands region.

Laanhof Victorian House offers accommodation in three Stellenbosch self catering rooms with a shared living area. Laanhof is situated in The Avenue, which is in the heart of the Stellenbosch tourism area, conveniently located for a variety of activities.

Self Catering Accommodation

Laanhof Victorian House consists of three rooms offered on a self catering basis. The lounge, dining area, fully equipped kitchen and patio with braai facilities will be used by all guests staying in the Victorian House.

All rooms are air conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms. Each room, as well as the lounge area, have a flat screen TV with DStv / satellite and a workspace with access to Wi-Fi, data points and sockets.

There is a garage and one parking space behind a security gate. The units are serviced Mondays to Fridays, except public holidays.

Nearby Activities

You will find some of the best wine farms just outside Stellenbosch, all available for wine tasting and with many offering excellent restaurants on the wine farm itself. For the more adventurous there is the Coetzenburg mountain just across the river and the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve, a 15 minute drive away, where one can jog, hike or ride a mountain bike on one of the many scenic single tracks or gravel roads. The Jonkershoek Reserve can also be reached along a walking/cycling path.

The Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden is the oldest university botanical garden in South Africa and has a big diversity of both indigenous and foreign species. There is a pleasant day time restaurant. Stellenbosch is the second oldest town in South Africa. Many well preserved historical buildings and an interesting town museums are worth a visit.
