What to expect at the lodge/reserve

Langkloof Game Farm is a 3500 hectare privately owned game farm, about 2.5 hours drive from Johannesburg and 50km from Bela Bela towards Thabazimbi. It offers complete privacy for nature lovers. Enjoy a carefree stay in the mountain surrounded only by nature and wild life. Enjoy a lovely view while relaxing or explore the unspoilt environment around you on foot or with a mountain bike.

Self Catering Accommodation

Choose from four comfortable self catering houses each sleeping between two to six guests.

Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, FREE Wi-Fi, a sheltered lapa and off street parking.

The Farm

There are over 40 mammal species to be found on the farm, large and small. These include giraffe, zebra, kudu, eland, waterbuck, blue wildebeest, gemsbok, bushbuck, blesbuck, mountain reedbuck, red hartebeest, klipspringer, duiker, steenbok, impala, bush pig and warthog. Predators such as leopard, brown hyena, genet, civet, black-backed jackal, caracal, and African wildcat are occasionally sighted. The elusive aardvark, pangolin and honey badger also occur in the area.

Langkloof also boasts with a wonderful selection of over 200 bird species. These include raptors such as snake eagles, buzzards as well as numerous different kingfishers, hornbills and sunbirds.
