Leshiba Wilderness is a Limpopo game lodge providing a wildlife experience for anyone visiting Soutpansberg.

Leshiba Wilderness is a luxury private wildlife and eco tourism destination located on top of the Soutpansberg Mountains, 36km west of Louis Trichardt, Limpopo, South Africa.

We offer single track mountain biking trails, guided walks and game drives.

With a passion for wilderness and conservation, remote and secluded places, art and culture, wellbeing and mindfulness, transformative travel and the upliftment of local communities, Leshiba is an out of the ordinary wildlife mountain sanctuary. Leshiba offers four accommodation options and both full-board and self catering are available, Leshiba is a magical place to take a walk on the wild side.

ACCOMMODATION

Leshiba Wilderness offers accommodation in The Venda Art Lodge, Hamasha Bush Camp and Luvhondo Camp - Indigenous Knowledge Centre with both full board and self-catering options.

The Venda Village Lodge:
An incredible work of art built on dreams and inspiration. Our hearts went into bringing this original Venda homestead back to life and creating one of the most unique lodges in the world.

Hamasha
A remote six-bed bush camp surrounded by trees and nestled within a spectacular amphitheatre of high cliffs and mountains. Hamasha is a dream escape from the rest of the world. Surrounded by trees and nestled within a spectacular amphitheatre of high cliffs and mountains with magnificent views, the camp overlooks Hamasha gorge.

Luvhondo Bush Camp
Luvhondo is located near a spectacular view site. Offering 16 � 28 beds. Luvhondo is Leshiba�s larger group accommodation venue. It is situated close to the cliffs with endless views and is ideal for workshops, retreats, family gatherings and celebrations. Perfect for hiking, birding, mountain biking, photography, tree or botanical groups, yoga retreats and more.

Wildlife Activities

Game drives are available, but the best way to experience all the reserve has to offer, is on foot. There are 12 marked trails from 2 to 5 hours walking time, with paths meandering through lush bush, over plains and down spectacular gorges, where in summer you can swim in clear rock pools.

Other Activities

For an experience which reflects the soul of Africa walk along the marked trails, join a game drive or take a horse ride (experienced riders only), within our diverse environment. Visit ancient rock art sites and meander under dense canopies of indigenous forest or hike down rocky gorges and visit the seasonal rock pools.
