About Lituba Place

Lituba Place offers affordable accommodation at the gateway to the Kruger National Park. Lituba Place is a well-equipped getaway, complete with a private plunge pool, waterhole and braai area. Indulge yourself in the comfort of this cosy, well-equipped, self-contained accommodation set in the African bushveld.

The waterhole is frequented by a variety of game and bird life - to date more than 300 bird species have been identified in Marloth Park. Animals recently seen at the waterhole include kudu, warthog, zebra, baboons, impala, duiker and blue wildebeest. Bird sightings range from waxbills to ostriches and a wide variety in between.

Self Catering Accommodation

Lituba Place provides accommodation for a maximum of six guests at a time. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave oven, fridge / freezer and ice machine. The chest freezer is in the adjacent pantry.

All cutlery and crockery is provided. The living area seats six guests and the dining room table likewise. There is a TV, DVD player as well as a DSTV decoder (please remember to bring your DSTV Smart Card). The lounge area provides access to the pool area through two doors, with a ramp at one door to allow wheelchair access.

Lituba Place has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with roof fans. The spacious main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and direct access to the pool area. Access to the bathroom is through a walk-through dressing room with large cupboards. The bathroom is equipped with a large twin-shower, lovely corner bath as well as twin basins and a toilet.

The second bedroom has a double sized bed and two easy chairs and ample cupboard space. The third bedroom can be prepared with either a queen-sized bed or two single beds, and has direct access to the pool area. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom, which is equipped with a basin, toilet, bath as well as a double shower.

Lituba Place's outside living areas include a spacious boma with washbasin and braai area, a splash pool and viewing deck. Shade parking is available for two vehicles. There is also a small viewing deck.

Location

Lituba Place is a four-hour drive from Johannesburg, or a one-hour drive from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport at Nelspruit. Maputo, Mozambique's capital is just over an hours' drive away as is the Kingdom of Swaziland. Lituba is ideally situated to undertake day trips in the game-rich southern parts of the Kruger National Park. The Crocodile Bridge Gate is only 22km away and Malelane Gate 38km.
