Mali Mali Safari Lodge is a guest house with self catering option, providing accommodation in Hoedspruit for anyone visiting the Valley of the Olifants region.

Mali Mali Safari Lodge offers Hoedspruit accommodation in the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve about 35km outside the small town. Stretching over a 1000ha with all the beauty that nature offers this wonderful reserve borders with the great Olifants River. Due to the size of the reserve, one can truly enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Lowveld bush.

The Fauna and Flora on the reserve has a healthy population of Waterbuck, Kudu, Nyala, Impala, Zebra, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Bushbuck, Duiker, Wild Dogs and other small animal species. Numerous bird species abound for the avid birder and nocturnal species include, Civet cat, Genet, Porcupine, Aardvark and the elusive Caracal.

Self Catering Accommodation

Mali Mali Safari Lodge has a layout with the emphasis on privacy. It consists of one bedroom en-suite guest cottages, each with a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge and coffee machine. All our units are equipped with everything you need. Please see the individual unit / chalet descriptions and photographs below, to assist with your selection.

Breakfast & Dining

Mali Mali Safari Lodge has an open plan kitchen for guests to use and a closed kitchen that serves the dining room which serves about 40 to 80 people, should you wish not to self cater.

Additional On Site Facilities

The lodge has a swimming pool, cocktail bar, lapa and cigar bar. The camp is fenced in with electric wire, very secure, child friendly and very safe.
