Mhisi lodge offers a contemporary interpretation of a traditional African bush lodge. Nestled on the banks of the legendary Sabi River, Mhisi Lodge encourages guests to get closer to one of Africa's greatest wildernesses, the Kruger National Park.

You can enjoy sweeping views across the river into Kruger National Park from the viewing balcony, or open living area and swimming pool deck, or you can listen for the calls of the hyenas for which the lodge is named, the resident hippo's grunts, or the unforgettable sound of lions roaring, from the private sheltered boma and bar.

Self Catering Accommodation

Mhisi Lodge is a self catering holiday home with three en-suite, air conditioned bedrooms. The bedrooms have King-size beds and the bathrooms have a bath and shower.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and can be stocked with groceries before arrival. This is an additional service and at an extra fee. The lodge has TV with satellite channels and free Wi-Fi. There is a living room, games room and dining area.

Outside there are braai facilities with charcoal and gas braais. The outside deck area has a swimming pool.

Game Drives, Walking Trails, Golf Clubs and numerous tourist attractions are all available by arrangement. Elephant Point is situated in a region renowned for its natural diversity and concentration of big game, and is undoubtedly one of the best game viewing areas in the Kruger National Park.

The estate takes its name from the elephant that can frequently be seen drinking and grazing on the banks of the mighty Sabie River. In addition you will see herds of buffalo, prides of lion, leopards and numerous antelope species. Elephant Point borders the Kruger National Park and is also neighbour to the World famous and exclusive Sabi Sand Game Reserve, home of Mala Mala, Sabi Sabi, Londolozi, Singita, Ulusaba and others.
