Olifants River Lodge in Middelburg, Mpumalanga (original) (raw)

Olifants River Lodge is a Middelburg hotel providing accommodation for anyone visiting the Cultural Heartland region.

Olifants River Lodge is a malaria-free, semi-bushveld paradise cradled in a valley and situated on the banks of the Great Olifants River, less than two hours' drive from Johannesburg, Pretoria and Nelspruit, on the R555 between Middelburg and Witbank (eMalahleni). A prepared 6km gravel road is the path that Oom Barrie took back in 1985 to Presidentsrus. He came over the hill and fell in love with the mystical view from afar.
