About Owl House

The Owl House is a bush house providing accommodation in a secluded and private space, built on four stands. The only movement is wildlife, which can be observed from the large stoep area. Ample wildlife in this area will give you the Marloth Park experience at its best and is close enough to walk to the river viewpoint.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Owl House has four air conditioned bedrooms with three en-suite bathrooms and one separate bathroom all with showers. Three of the bedrooms have double beds and the fourth bedroom has two single beds. Bed linen and towels are provided but guests need to bring their own swimming towels.

The open plan living area contains a kitchen that is equipped with a fridge, microwave oven, stove and kettle. The dining table provides seating for six guests. The lounge area has comfortable furniture.

Outside is a covered patio with outdoor seating and a braai in the garden. The splash pool is a welcome cool-down after a long summer day in the bush.

Additional Information

On the bank of the Crocodile River between Malelane and Komatipoort on the N4 national highway, Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary and holiday town, It boasts four of the "Big Five" with the exception of elephant. Buffalo, rhino and lion are confined to Marloth's game reserve "Lionspruit", the rest of the game such as kudu,zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, nyala, impala, warthog, ostrich and other's aren't restricted by fences and roam freely between the units that are built on 3000 ha.

On the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park, Crocodile Bridge gate is 14 km and Malelane gate 35 km from Marloth Park.
