What to expect at the lodge/reserve

Pafuri Border Camp offers accommodation in three different units in the world renowned Kruger National Park and is near to Punda Maria. There are many activities that guests are able to enjoy at the camp.

Self Catering Accommodation

Pafuri Border Camp comfortably sleeps up to 18 guests in three self catering holiday homes. This is an ideal place for guests looking for a self catering bushveld experience. There is also a communal swimming pool available for use.

Mockford Cottage:
The cottage is fitted with one bedroom and two bathrooms. The bedroom consists of two three quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet and a basin. The cottage has a kitchen with a stove, fridge / freezer, cutlery and crockery. The enclosed verandah has an additional bathroom. The cottage has an outside braai area.

Doctors House:
The Doctor's House is furnished with three bedrooms and three bathrooms; the main bedroom consists of two three quarter beds, an en-suite bathroom and a fireplace. The other two bedrooms also have two three quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge / freezer, stove, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The enclosed verandah features a fan, furniture and a dining table. The house has an outside braai area.

Mockford House:
This house is furnished with four bedrooms and five bathrooms; all the bedrooms have two three quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and a basin. The main bedroom has a fireplace as well. There is an additional shower and bath in the house. The kitchen has everything needed for self catering and consists of a fridge / freezer, gas stove, oven, crockery and cutlery. There is an enclosed verandah that contains furniture, a fan and two seater table. The house has an outdoor BBQ / braai area.

Activities and Facilities

Activities include guided bush walks, and morning, night and day game drives with experienced field guides, 4x4 adventure trails, bush breakfast and bush braais, and wildlife film screenings.
