Robertson Stays is a stunning farmhouse overlooking a dam and mountain range. The Breede River Valley self catering house is a haven of peace and quiet. The valley is an interesting mix of modern farming techniques and natural beauty. This is a hiking and mountain biking paradise.

Self Catering Accommodation

Robertson Stays has four bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. The fourth bedroom has an outside entrance and has a bunk bed, ideal for teenagers who want to be separate from their parents. These three rooms share a bathroom with a bath and shower. All the bedrooms have fans.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, fridge / freezer and there is a breakfast bar with stools. The dining room has a dining table and chairs. The lounge has a fireplace and a TV with satellite channels. Stacking doors open out onto a covered patio with outdoor furniture, braai facilities and a swimming pool. There is also a dam in front of the house that you can swim in, so not advisable for people with children that can't swim.

The house is in a remote location, completely off the grid. Solar power and borehole water. No high usage appliance can be used. The road is a dirt road, accessible by normal car but easier with a high clearance vehicle.

The Area

The Robertson area has a lot of wine farms with wine tastings and good food. In the village there are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, a stunning nursery and art gallery. But you do come to this area to wind down and to avoid crowds and busy areas. There are lots of nature trails, for hiking and mountain biking (Cape Epic passes next to the house).
