Royal Morubisi Founders Lodge is a Limpopo game lodge providing a wildlife experience for anyone visiting Waterberg.

Royal Morubisi is located at Kaingo Game Reserve, a wilderness of outstanding scenic beauty, an African Eden, situated in the malaria-free Waterberg, 2.5 hours from Johannesburg.

Kaingo represents a piece of Africa as it used to be with unique wildlife experiences, conservation and research activities and picturesque natural assets in abundance. With the mighty Mokolo river weaving through breath taking landscapes the reserve is home to more than 60 mammal and more than 250 bird species.

Accommodation

Royal Morubisi offers Waterberg accommodation in luxury Suites, Safari Suites and Leopard House. All the rooms offer en-suite bathrooms, tea / coffee station, hairdryer, air-conditioning, safe, laundry bag and a bar fridge. Leopard House also has a lounge, dining room, fire pit, garden and swimming pool.

Dining

All meals are included in the rates and served in the dining room.

The main communal areas include a dining room, breakfast buffet station, lounge, bar, cellar, gym, boma and swimming pool.

Activities

Kaingo offers a remarkable landscape and no two Kaingo experiences are the same. That is because the way you see and touch this magical place will be shaped by your particular interests. Every Kaingo visit is a true journey to the heart of an inspired conservation vision, and a reserve that is surreal in its diversity and magnitude. Whether game drive, bush walk, river cruise, or participation in a conservation activity, there is never enough time to exhaust the many ways there are to love this place.

Kaingo is home to over 50 different mammals, including the Big Five. It is home to several endangered and rare species too, such as Cheetah, Tessebe, Brown hyena and Pangolin. Several nocturnal species can best be seen at night including Aardvark, Serval, Bush baby and African wild cat.
