Sao Rafael offers self catering in St Helena Bay located at Da Gama Bay resort on the Cape west Coast. Inspired by Vasco Da Gama, the units at Da Gama Bay Holiday Units are named after the large merchant ships that Da Gama and his fellow travellers arrived in.

Self Catering Accommodation

Sao Rafael Holiday Home in St Helena Bay has two bedrooms.

The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, vanity with a hairdryer and a workstation. The second bedroom is furnished with twin beds. The rooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The modern open plan kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, toaster, microwave and fridge / freezer. A Nespresso Capsule Coffee Machine is available. The lounge area has a comfortable L-shape couch, complimentary high-speed internet, even during load-shedding, a Smart TV and guests are able to view DStv, AppleTV, Netflix and Showmax using their own login details. There is also an electronic safe, an alarm system and burglar bars.

Take a dip in the heated pool after a long day at the beach or just soak up the sun on the loungers on the pool deck. An outdoor shower is also available to wash off the beach sand.

From the private covered braai patio guests will be in one of only three places on earth, in a natural continental bay, that allows them to observe both the rising and the setting of the sun over the ocean, an experience not to be missed.

Attractions

Da Gama Bay is located in St Helena Bay, approximately 150km north of Cape Town, on the Vredenburg Peninsula of the Cape West Coast. In today's modern times, the village stretches from Laingville through to Duykereiland with Paternoster and Saldanha Bay lying further south, and Laaiplek and Velddrif to the east. Consisting of 18 iconic bays it is a unique part of the West Coast that must be explored.
