Segodi Game Lodge is a Limpopo game lodge providing a wildlife experience for anyone visiting Waterberg.

Settled roughly halfway between Thabazimbi and Ellisras and approximately 300km from Johannesburg or Pretoria, deep in the Savannah Bushveld of Africa, Segodi Game Lodge is a pristine fully fenced game lodge of roughly 1000ha.

Accommodation

Segodi Lodge consists of seven luxury chalets, of which three are single bed units, two chalets are double bed units and two are King-size units.

All chalets have an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and heating facilities. Our pilot room is located next to the main building and also includes an en-suite bathroom. Our services include all linen and towels, wood and fire making, table setting, dish washing, laundry and cleaning services.

Lodge Facilities & Activities

Segodi Game Lodge offers a variety of entertainment services. Guests can choose to relax around the swimming pool or sunbathe on the lounge deck, play bowls or board games with friends or be entertained in our entertainment area with pool, darts and full DStv services.

We also have a luxury bar equipped with an ice-machine for your convenience, boma area, dining room and lounge area with a cappuccino / coffee bar, overlooking swimming pool and waterhole nearby.

The Wildlife

Segodi Game Lodge is a unique piece of untamed bushveld with species ranging from the elusive steenbuck to the graceful giraffe.

A wide variety of African game species occur on Segodi's sandveld including: common duiker, steenbuck, bushbuck, warthog, impala, blesbuck, red hartebeest, blue wildebeest, gemsbuck, kudu, zebra, waterbuck, eland, giraffe and ostrich. Other game such as leopard, cheetah, brown hyena, caracal, aardwolf, African civet, bat eared fox and black blacked jackal are common too.

Segodi also has prolific bird life with more than 200 bird species recorded. The name 'Segodi' was derived from the astonishing Southern Pale Chanting Coshawk / Bleeksingvalk also known as �Segodi' in the Tswanna language. This amazing bird of prey patrols the sky and keeps watch over this unique piece of bushveld.
