Silver Hill Lodge is a Kamberg hotel providing accommodation in 7 guest rooms for anyone visiting the Drakensberg region.

Silver Hill Lodge offers Drakensberg accommodation in a nature reserve in the beautiful Kamberg Valley in the Central Drakensberg. A 400-hectare nature lovers' paradise offering regular sightings of the endangered Bearded Vulture, and other rare birds. Our hiking trails lead to magnificent panoramas, natural forests and waterfalls.

Accommodation

Silver Hill Lodge Hotel in Kamberg offers accommodation in a variety of suites and cottages. It has seven family suites and two couples cottages. Each unit contains amenities such as a hairdryer, tea/coffee station, and spectacular mountain views.

Breakfast & Dining

Breakfast is included in the rates. There is an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy scrumptious food, big log fires, barista coffee, craft gin and locally sourced craft beer all served by professional and caring staff.

Apart from the restaurant, the lodge has a licenced bar, laundry services, Wi-Fi Boule, jungle gym, play area, trampoline, swimming pool and secure parking.

This area is famous with Nature Lovers, Hikers and Fishermen alike, and if you simply enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountains, then visit our paradise. There are many activities to keep the energetic going and for the more relaxed to simply sit and absorb the awe-inspiring surroundings. Enjoy trout fishing in our dams or rivers and streams that run abundantly through the estate.

The endangered Bearded Vultures nest on the cliffs above the lodge and are regularly seen. There are five dams on the estate and a wetland. The estate also boasts its own mountain and natural forest. Have a picnic or sundowners on the banks of the river or in the cosy bar. Enjoy the sounds of the river gushing over the rocks into rock pools. In summer this is a fun spot for a quick dip to cool off or swim.
