Three stylish, yet homely houses await your arrival. Each house is individually and gracefully styled with great attention to detail, elegant furnishings to ensure maximum comfort during your stay. Upon your arrival braai wood, tea, coffee, sugar are provided to replenish and refresh you after your journey and to ease you into your holiday.

Each house comfortably sleeps five people and consists of two queen / twin bedrooms and a single bedroom, all boasting quality linen. The bathroom consists of shower, bath, basin and toilet and fluffy towels are provided for additional convenience.

The spacious open-plan lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen with DStv, fans and heaters to guarantee convenience, and there is Wi-Fi throughout the house for those wishing to keep in touch with loved ones while away, or for workaholics! The scullery has a washing machine with iron and ironing board.

Private braai facilities and wood are available for those who wish to prepare and enjoy meals outdoors.

Activities and Attractions

For the more adventurous, we are situated close to horse-riding, mountain hiking and quad-biking trails. For sports enthusiasts, a golf course, fishing on the Breede River and a variety of water sports are available to enjoy.

The Bontebok National Park, an 8000 hectare refuge for the rare Bontebok and Cape Mountain Zebra is situated just outside of town and for nature lovers, scenic walks to majestic waterfalls through an indigenous forest can be enjoyed at the Marloth Nature Reserve.

A visit to Sulina, the Fairie Sanctuary, will delight the kids and berry picking and liqueur tasting make for a fun filled family day!

For great day trips, you can take a drive to the coast to watch Southern Right Whales breaching and splashing just a stone's throw from shore, or to Cape L'Agulhas, the Southern most tip of Africa. A drive down the famous Karoo Route 62, through Suurbrak and the scenic Tredoux Pass, with its magnificent rock formations is a must for desert lovers and a stop for lunch in Barrydale a treat!

Swellendam has plenty to offer to ensure a varied and fun-filled stay: a wide variety of gift and novelty shops, wonderful restaurants, museums, art galleries and, for visitors with an interest in history, there are plenty of historical sites to visit.
