Self Catering Accommodation

The Glass Deck House in Sedgefield is split on two levels. Upstairs comprises the main bedroom which is furnished with a King-size bed and the full en-suite bathroom opens onto a private lagoon-facing deck. The lounge, with its cosy indoor gas-burning fireplace, is open-plan with the dining room. Leading off the lounge is a light-filled enclosed sunroom with comfortable seating arrangements and an additional dining table, boasting full lagoon views. There is a separate TV lounge with an indoor gas-burning fireplace, as well as an office nook. The main kitchen is also upstairs and is fully equipped for a self-catering stay. It opens onto an outdoor wooden deck, with stairs leading down to the gardens.

Downstairs, the second bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the other two rooms are furnished with twin beds. There is a separate bathroom fitted with bath, shower, toilet and basin. A large secondary TV lounge as well as a kitchenette, with a washing machine, is also found downstairs.

The lounge opens onto an undercover balcony, which in turn leads out onto a very spacious, landscaped and fully enclosed garden.

Sedgefield is a beautiful seaside village, lying between George and Knysna, along the renowned Garden Route in the Western Cape. The town is surrounded by glistening lakes, vegetated sand dunes, dense pine plantations, the Swartvlei Estuary, and the warm Indian Ocean. The area surrounding Sedgefield is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Groenvlei Lake is the only freshwater lake in the area and is a popular spot for Bass fishing. It forms part of the Goukamma Nature Reserve and has some of the highest vegetated sand dunes in South Africa.
