Together with my wife, and daughter and her new husband, I have just spent a few days at the St James Hotel. I was so impressed by the quality of service which Renee and your staff gave us that I felt moved to write to say thanks, and also to say what a great team you have there. My wife and I had travelled around the Western Cape for a few weeks before finding the St James - our only regret was that it took us so long to find you. We live in the UK, and have tended in recent years to prefer to holiday in Europe, having tired of the falseness of North America. I stay in hotels many times throughout the year, and I have travelled over the 5 continents in the recent times, but I have never before felt moved to write to say thank you - that�s how much your staff at St James have impressed all of my family. Of course the hotel has a superb location - I�m sure that�s why you bought it, and of course the aspect from the hotel is wonderful, but it is the quality of service which we really appreciated, and which we believe deserves a large thank you. Please pass on all of our best wishes to your team at St James. All that I can say now is that we will return as soon as possible, and we intend to visit your other hotels, in the expectation that the ethos which you have instilled at St James will be repeated elsewhere. I never thought during the dark days of the 1970s and 1980s that I would become such an advocate of travel to South Africa, but that�s what I am now.
