Wagendrift Lodge is a highly recommended property for self catering in Laingsburg for anyone visiting the Karoo region.

Situated in the heart of the Karoo, next to the Buffels River, Wagendrift Lodge offers everything for the whole family to enjoy. From 4x4 routes, hiking trails, bow hunting, mountain bike trails and rock climbing to game viewing.

Beautiful gardens populated by a vast selection of birds surrounds the luxurious cottages and lodge. Wagendrift Lodge has an abundance of game which guests can explore on foot, bicycle or 4x4 drives.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. The 5 lodge rooms each have en-suite bathrooms.

The communal lounge and kitchen is fully equipped with cooker plates (without oven), freezer, fridge, toaster, microwave oven and kettle. It has an indoor fireplace and a built in braai on the porch with an adjacent swimming pool which is surrounded by a magnificent view of the Swartberge.

Wagendrift Lodge has three self-catering garden cottages, known in Afrikaans as �Klipspringer�, �Nguni� and �Duiker�.

The cottages represents the ideal accommodation for the perfect family getaway. Each cottage has one bedroom with a double bed and 2 single beds in the living area.

The cottages are equipped with a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, crockery and a snappy chef cooking plate. On each cottage porch, you will find a built in braai with views over our garden and the surrounding mountains.

Facilities

Linen and bath towels, hand wash and kitchenware are provided, please ensure you bring your own swimming towel. Braai wood and ice can be purchased on the farm.

Please Note
� There is a neat cement farm dam next to cottages available for cottage guests only.
� We do not serve any meals or anything to drink. Also bring own coffee, tea, milk.

Attractions & Activities

We have the following trails available for our guest, with a complete map with GPS points to help yourself find your way. These trails are in the game camp where you will be able to view Zebra, Klipspringers, Duiker, Baboon and even Kudu in the early evening. We also have a great variety of birdlife.

Apart from the various activities such as bird watching, hiking and mountain bike trails, motorcycle and 4�4 routes and team building activities, the farm also has some zebra's and very rare flora. Very recently a very rare species of aloe plants (Haworthias marxii), was re-discovered and named after Mr Gerhard Marx.
