Waterford House is a highly recommended property for self catering in Clarens for up to 8 guests visiting the Thabo Mofutsanyana region.

Situated in the picturesque Clarens Golf Estate, Waterford House offers accommodation for eight guests. There are a number of things to do in the area; golfing at the estate, river rafting, quad bike riding or exploring the Golden Gate Highlands National Park.

Self Catering Accommodation

Waterford House is situated in a quiet enclave on the Clarens Golf Estate, which features an 18-hole golf course, the house comprises 4 en-suite bathrooms, each with their own entrance and private patio.

There are 2 bedrooms furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 bedrooms furnished with a king-size. The main bedroom contains has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. There is 2 en-suite bathroom with a shower and 1 en-suite bathroom with a bath. There is underfloor heating in all rooms to keep guests warm in the winter.

The large living area has a loft area that is accessed by a spiral staircase. The loft area has a library and a study. There is a separate and comfortable lounge with a plasma TV with PVR and a DVD-player as well as an 8 seater dining room table. The fully equipped farmhouse kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. There is also a guest bathroom.

The living area leads outside onto an undercover verandah with views of the Mount Horeb. There is a large wood burning fireplace in the lounge. Braai facilities are available and there is a double undercover parking bay as well as additional off street parking.

The house is fully equipped and serviced daily, excluding Sundays.

The Area

Clarens is situated in the foothills of the Maluti Mountains and is nicknamed the �Jewel of the Eastern Free State'. It was established in 1912 and named after the town of Clarens in Switzerland where exiled Paul Kruger spent his last days.
