Samaritans Training and Engagement Programmes

Bring Samaritans’ skills into your organisation

Samaritans has been training volunteers to provide emotional support to people struggling to cope for over 70 years. Samaritans Training and Engagement Programmes (STEP) can bring this expertise into your organisation by training your people and teams so they can spot and support anyone who is struggling to cope.

What we're working on

Every ten seconds, we respond to a call for help. No judgement. No pressure. We're here for anyone who needs someone.

Being a Samaritan means being there for people who need someone to listen. Last year around 23,000 people volunteered their time with us.
