Two men, both 25, killed in separate motorcycle crashes identified (original) (raw)

Authorities have publicly identified two 25-year-old men who died last week in separate late-night motorcycle accidents in San Diego County.

The first of the two traffic fatalities took place shortly before 11:30 p.m. Friday, when Joel Montoya of Valley Center crashed his northbound Harley-Davidson into an SUV that had stopped ahead of him at the intersection of state Route 78 and 10th Street in Ramona, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The second wreck occurred about 12:45 a.m. Saturday in the Valencia Park neighborhood of San Diego. While riding with a passenger on Imperial Avenue, Terry Ivory of Rancho Cucamonga lost control of his Harley-Davidson, sending it crashing into a parked pickup truck.

Montoya and Ivory died at the scenes of the crashes.

Ivory’s companion was hospitalized for unknown injuries.
