She began her medical journey as a member of the prestigious accelerated BA/MD program at Rutgers University and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she graduated at the top of her class. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed her dermatology residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the East Orange Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she was selected as chief resident.
She furthered her expertise by completing a highly sought-after American College of Mohs Surgery fellowship, where she trained under some of the nation’s leading experts in skin cancer removal, facial reconstruction and cosmetic surgery.
In addition to her specialization in Mohs surgery and reconstructive techniques, Dr. John offers a wide range of dermatologic services, from comprehensive skin exams to advanced cosmetic procedures. She is skilled in injectables such as dermal fillers and neuromodulators, as well as laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling and hair loss solutions such as PRP.
Dr. John has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in top dermatology journals. She is dedicated to remaining at the forefront of her field, continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance the care and treatment she provides her patients.
