Dr. Biren is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She has more than 30 years of experience in dermatology and has built a reputation for excellence in skin cancer surgery, medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Biren began her career by opening her own private practice in 1989, serving the communities of Modesto, Oakdale and surrounding areas. She is excited to now be offering her expertise to patients in the Monterey area.

Dr. Biren began her career by opening her own private practice in 1989, serving the communities of Modesto, Oakdale and surrounding areas. She is excited to now be offering her expertise to patients in the Monterey area.
She earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA at the age of 16, graduating magna cum laude with departmental honors in Biology. She completed medical school at Northwestern University and went on to complete her dermatology residency at UC Irvine/Long Beach, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Biren currently serves on the board of the North American Clinical Dermatologic Society, a nonprofit academic organization focused on advancing global dermatologic knowledge and collaboration.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling. Her husband and son are both radiologists, and her daughter is a veterinarian.
