He is a full clinical professor of plastic surgery at the University of California San Francisco where he continues to teach and mentor residents and medical students in plastic and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Friedenthal is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been recognized in Best Doctors in America and listed by U.S. News and World Report among its “Best Doctors.”
