08 June Updated Fuel Stock Data Is Available On The MBIE Website (original) (raw)
- Fuel importers have provided good confidence through confirmed orders to July, with planned orders extending into September.
- The latest data (as at 11.59pm on 3 June) shows stocks were at 58.3 days’ supply for petrol; 49.6 days for diesel; and 53.5 days for jet fuel.
- Since the last update, petrol stocks have increased by 2.7 days, diesel stocks have increased by 9.4 days; and jet fuel stocks have decreased by 1.2 days.
- Note: the published diesel stock data below does not include reserves controlled by the Government, the first shipment of which is currently enroute to New Zealand. More details can be found here: First shipment of extra diesel reserve bound for NZ | Beehive.govt.nz.
As at 11:59pm on Wednesday 3 June, fuel companies confirmed the current fuel stock level (as days’ cover) as:
