The new battery for the Sony A7R6 is incompatible with older Sony cameras, as the positions of its electrical contacts have changed.The battery has a capacity of over 2600 mAh.
Current Sony NPFZ1000 batteries have 2280 mAh. This means we are getting +15% of battery capacity.

- New battery (NP-SA100) is more expensive ($120). You can’t reuse the old battery. The grip is a bit bigger for better ergonomic. New vertical grip (VG-C6 $460)
