STUTTGART — El Canaveral Mexican Restaurant recently contributed to the Stuttgart Animal Shelter Building Fund, an ongoing community effort to construct a new animal shelter facility in Stuttgart.

Licet Nunez of El Canaveral presented the donation to Karolyn Owen Jackson, who is helping lead fundraising efforts for the project. Community businesses, organizations, and individuals have continued to support the campaign as organizers work toward raising the funds needed for the new facility.

Donations to the Stuttgart Animal Shelter Building Fund may be made through accounts set up at Southern Bancorp, PayPal, and GoFundMe, or by mailing a check to Stuttgart Volunteers at 304 S. Maple St., Stuttgart, AR 72160.
