Paul Navrátil, longtime TACCSTER, respected colleague, beloved friend, and innovative leader, passed away in October 2024. We will greatly miss his enthusiasm, dedication, friendship, and booming laugh. This year’s Texascale Magazine is dedicated to Paul. Read more about his life.

There will be a celebration of Paul's life on Monday, January 20th, 1pm - 3pm, at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center. Everyone is welcome.

Create an Account

Fill out the account request form on the TACC Account Management Portal and it will be reviewed by our User Services team.

Faculty, professional research staff, and postdoctoral researchers may request Principle Investigator (PI) eligibility for their account. PIs are responsible for requesting system allocations and managing their team.

Graduate and undergraduate students can create an account, but must be added to allocations by PIs to use the systems.

Vista will not be available from 07:00 AM to 08:00 PM (CST) onTuesday, 18 February 2025. System maintenance will be performed duringthis time.

Frontera Status Tuesday 21 January 2025

Due to a hardware issue on the disk controller for the shared file system, we have to take the file system offline and troubleshoot the issue. The proposed window is 9AM-5PM CST, but we will put the system back to production as soon as the hardware work is complete.
