Foxborough Regional Charter School has received state approval to expand enrollment through Grade 10 beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, opening new high school entry opportunities for students across southeastern Massachusetts, according to a community announcement.
The approval was granted by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, allowing the public charter school district to admit additional students as it grows its high school program.
Foxborough Regional Charter School is a K–12 public school district that enrolls students from more than 20 Massachusetts communities, including Taunton, Norton and Easton.

Foxborough Regional Charter School’s high school program offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular options, including Advanced Placement courses, dual enrollment partnerships with multiple colleges and universities, expanded online coursework, athletic teams, clubs and honor societies, according to the announcement.
The school also offers college visits, instant decision days, financial aid support, STEM diploma pathways, career fairs, international travel opportunities and the Spanish Language Seal of Biliteracy.
Student outcomes highlighted
Recent student outcomes underscore the school’s growth, according to the announcement. Members of the Class of 2025 submitted more than 1,200 college applications to 245 post‑secondary institutions, while the Class of 2026 has recorded a 98% college acceptance rate to date.
School officials said the expansion supports goals outlined in the district’s Strategic Plan for 2026–2029, which emphasizes strong academic performance, inclusive school culture, effective leadership and operational excellence.
Enrollment timeline
Enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year will be open from May 7 through June 6 for students entering kindergarten through Grade 10. The enrollment lottery is scheduled for June 10, according to the announcement.
Families can apply online through foxboroughrcs.org. For Taunton students, the school offers bus transportation and has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club Metro South – Taunton Clubhouse to provide access to free after‑school care, enrichment programs and additional student supports, according to the announcement.
