The Margi is a boutique hotel and SLH member located in the sundrenched peninsula of Vouliagmeni also known as the Athenian Riviera. The Margi is a haven away from home, just a few steps away from the sandy beaches but just close enough to the historical sites of Athens.

The combination of superb cuisine from Michelin star chef Panagiotis Giakalis, friendly and attentive staff as well as exquisite design and attention offers a memorable experience for travelers all year long.

In 1960, Dr. Stavridis commenced the construction of the “Margi House”, a complex of 18 luxury apartments in the lush pinewood forest of Vouliagmeni. The Margi House, a wise yet brave investment, was immediately recognized by the press as “a private initiative achievement which honors Greek tourism’’.

Dr. Stavridis chose to name the hotel after his two lovely daughters, Maria and Gina, which was a subtle indication of his personal bond with The Margi. To this day it has remained a family-run business, with the grandchildren of the visionary doctor at the helm of The Margi Hotel.
