Jake Shane performed the first show of Therapuss Live on Monday
The Therapuss Live tour has officially kicked off.
Jake Shane announced the tour in July, but his first show was Monday night. The podcaster brought his highly popular podcast to life as he performed at The Carolina Theatre in Durham, North Carolina.
He took to Instagram to share photos from before and after the show. "THANK YOU DURHAM! What an insane start to Therapuss Live!!" Jake captioned the photos and added an octopus emoji.

One photo showed Jake standing on the stage with his hand on his hip. The podcaster wore a grey t-shirt, black pants, and white shoes.
He faced away from the camera, looking out at the empty green velvet upholstered seats before the show started. The second photo was of the show in full swing.
Jake still faced away from the camera and now performed to the three-tiered crowd in front of him with a long-sleeved pullover over his shirt that boasted the tour dates of the show. The audience members all held up their phones with the flashlights on, creating a sea of light.
Fans of Therapuss excitedly congratulated Jake in the comments of his post. "So proud and excited to watch you SHINE," one gushed.
"DREAMS COME TRUE," another stated. Others expressed their excitement to see Jake on tour during his stops in places like Fayetteville, Arkansas and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Fellow influencers Natalie Noel and Alix Earle also shared their support. "Go Jakey go!!" Natale said. Alix added: "I'm emotion so proud of you YESSSS."
The next show on the tour will be Wednesday night at the Lexington Opera House in Lexington, Kentucky. The week before his tour started, Jake attended an event and was met by a crowd of fans.
Jake partnered with the prebiotic soda brand Poppi and attended an event they held at the Victory Lap sports bar in Austin, Texas.
Guests who attended the event had the chance to sip Poppi's newest flavor (Cherry Cola), shop merch, get free lunch, and the first 500 people received a Poppi scratch-off with the possibility to win a limited edition prize.
