Melania Trump has described the 'undeniable spark' she felt between Donald and her when they first met.

The two met at a party in New York in September 1998. In a video, posted by Melania on X, formerly Twitter, ahead of the books released, the former-First Lady described her strong feelings for Donald when they first met. She said: "From the moment Donald and I met, there was an undeniable spark. There was something magnetic about him."

Throughout her 184-page book, she argues that the public only saw a part of Donald Trump.

In the book she describes their meeting at a party in New York and the moment he approached her. She writes: "His eyes filled with curiosity and interest, and, seizing the opportunity, he took the seat next to mine and started a conversation. He asked me about my time in New York, my Slovenian home, and my world travels. It was a moment of connection, a brief encounter that left a lasting impression. It was nice to make a new acquaintance."

She added: "From the moment our conversation began, I was captivated by his charm and easygoing nature. There was so much bustling activity around us, but his intent focus on our interaction made me feel like the center of his world. It was a refreshing departure from the usual superficial small talk, and I found myself drawn to his magnetic energy."

He asked for her number but she declined and instead asked for his. Unable to get him out of her head, she later called, and wrote about the call: "The connection between us was palpable, much like what we had shared the week prior."

In the book Melania doesn't shy away from topics, coming out strongly in favor of abortion rights for women, putting her at odds with husband Donald, who has boasted being behind the Supreme Court decision to overturn the landmark ruling Roe vs Wade.

It also puts her in opposition to much of the Republican Party and their evangelical supporters.

In a video posted to her X account Thursday morning, the former first lady defended women’s “individual freedoms” to do what they want with their bodies. Husband Donald has struggled to find a consistent message on abortion while wedged between anti-abortion supporters within his base and the majority of Americans who support abortion rights.

Melania also describes herself a 'fully supportive' of the LGBTQIA+ community.
