This comes after a mom was trolled online for naming her daughter after a fruit. Earlier this year Daisy Jane Wood and her husband Alex, both 27, named their youngest daughter Lemon Jane.

The unusual name was inspired by Lemon Breeland, a character from the TV show 'Hart of Dixie', portrayed by Jaime King. After sharing her daughter's name on Instagram (@daisyjanewood), Daisy's post has garnered over 1.8 million views and more than 33,000 likes. But the reactions online were mixed.

While some people were in favor of the unique name, others are not so keen with some even suggesting that Lemon will "hate" Daisy for choosing such a name when she grows up. Even Jaime King herself has weighed in commenting on one of Daisy's posts.

Daisy, who comes from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, said: "I don't regret naming her Lemon at all and we do not care that some people hate it. I started watching the show Hart of Dixie as something to watch while my husband is at work, because he always gets hooked on them, and then I can't watch them without him.
