A County Durham woman has been named, shamed and fined over £200 after dropping litter in the street.
Hayley Turton, 28 of Penshaw Gardens, East Stanley has been ordered to pay a total of £229 for littering.
Turton was initially issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice of £150, reduced to £100 if paid within ten days, but ignored the requests from Durham County Council.

She also turned down the chance of an e-Learning course which is offered to first-time offenders with a reduced fee of £65.
In court, Durham County Council pushed ahead with its plans of seeking a fine after littering, which goes against section 87/88 Environmental Protection Act 1990.
