Fun for all the family
The Therme Wien Family Day is all about having fun. For us, the Family Nest is our go-to family haven – the ideal place to retreat to when the little ones want to take a nap. Young children can let their hair down in the toddler area, where everyone’s happy to hear them squeal with delight. And I found myself reconnecting with my inner child as soon as a I saw all the water slides. The Black Hole is my favourite: 112 meters from start to finish and reaching speeds of up to 25 km/h along the way. And when hunger strikes, we head to the spa restaurant, where everyone finds just what they like. And then to cap it all: a jump from the diving platform. After all, diving into the water is always the best bit.
Quiet pool for couples
Our relaxation day at Therme Wien is the perfect way to unwind together as a couple. The way that the warmth of the thermal water envelops and relaxes us has an almost miraculous effect on us. And the infusion in the sauna is just so calming. It’s amazing just how beneficial a “Time together” massage is for both body and soul – and it makes us feel connected. After a relaxing day at the spa together, we rediscover how nice it is to have some quality time while treating ourselves – and each other – in the process. It really is a special experience that brings our sense of togetherness to the surface.

My relaxing day at Therme Wien – featuring the all-round carefree package – is a slice of pure luxury. It’s impossible to ignore it when my inner voice starts to scream: time for a getaway! Giving in to it is the first step towards taking care of myself again, and putting a stop to the endless merry-go-round of “got to do this, got to do that”. So I treat myself to a well-deserved short break! During my Relax! One Day Holiday at Therme Wien, I set aside a whole day exclusively for my health, my needs and my own wellbeing. The focus is on me, me, me as I consciously experience a whole new level of relaxation in the Relax! Lounge. It really is the height of luxury. And one of the greatest gifts I can give myself and my body.
Best friends relax together
My girls day out at Therme Wien is spontaneous, fun and relaxing. Sometimes my sides are aching from laughing so much, but I’ll take it because there’s nothing better than doing something special with my friends. And we keep on coming back for more. It’s enjoyable and always memorable. Sometimes we get together for an after-work drink in the saltwater pool or treat ourselves to a wellness and treatment day centring on a massage and sauna. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing properly, as they say! Besides all the fun, chatting and connecting, we’re also doing our immune system the power of good. And that’s all backed up by science, by the way. So just another reason why good friends take care of themselves. And each other.
My very own health care boost
My health and wellness day at Therme Wien is a pure blessing. I feel it the moment I slip into the water: the warmth is so good for my joints, they’re supple and soft in no time at all, meaning that I can move more freely and easily once again. And because a little extra help can’t hurt, I join in the free aqua gymnastics session. This allows me to get my body moving and build up muscle strength while going easy on my joints. And the best bit of all is that it’s almost effortless, because the water carries me. Afterwards I head to the sauna before relaxing for a while in the Kaminzimmer lounge with its open fire. A perfect day all round for me – and my health.
