Livi Stanton, known for her role in Gladiators, is to play in UNICEF's Soccer Aid 2024.

The live event brings together football legends as well as showbiz stars to raise money for charity. Here's what we know about her involvement in the beautiful game.

What position will Liv Sheldon, aka Diamond, play in Soccer Aid 2024?

According to speculation on her Instagram, she's been given the number 9, and will be playing the position of centre forward.

The match will take place on June 9, 2024, at Stamford Bridge Stadium in Chelsea.

She will be joined by the likes of Robbie Williams, Usain Bolt, and Paddy McGuinness.

Talking to the Express, she said: "I've always wanted to do Soccer Aid and being a Gladiator has given me that opportunity. So, when I got approached, of course I said yes!"

The former semi-professional footballer is to join a formidable Soccer Aid team.

Livi has shown an interest in sports from a young age.

At the age of six, she began playing for a boys football team before eventually getting a place in a girls team.

She was captain for many years and then made the move to play for Worcester City Ladies.

After graduating with a degree in Sports Science, Livi took up bodybuilding.

In a September 2022 Instagram post, she wrote: 'It's been 10 years since I first started weight training, and let me tell you, it hasn't been a smooth road, but I wouldn't be where I am today without it.

'Weight training hasn't just helped me shape my physique, but it's moulded me as a person.'

After all of her hard work, Livi became a British Finalist 'England Toned Figure'.

She appeared as Diamond in the rebooted Gladiators series, which started earlier this year.

She said: "I feel like becoming a Gladiator is something I've been training for my whole life."

"From playing football when I was younger to swimming and then going into bodybuilding. I feel like all of it has led me to this outcome of being a Gladiator."

" I do not think I would have had half the strength that I currently have if I hadn't had all of my past experiences."

You can watch all the action live at 6PM on ITV, ITVX and STV on Sunday 9th of June. The Soccer Aid website says: "Watch international sporting legends come together with top celebrities to battle it out on the pitch this summer."

Soccer Aid was created by Robbie Williams in 2006, and aims to bring the nation together to help children worldwide have the best start in life.

Last year it raised £14 million for UNICEF.
