Giving Tuesday

ABOUT GIVING TUESDAY

GivingTuesday is a global movement to spread generosity that started as a hashtag in 2012 and is now one of the biggest fundraising days of the year for nonprofits like TMCF. More than $3.1 billion was raised in the United States last year on GivingTuesday.

WHY GIVE

GivingTuesday is a day to give back to causes you believe in. We’ve seen the fruit of our efforts at TMCF and we know the work we do with HBCU students drives impact and changes generations of families across the country. Internal giving also signals to prospective partners that our employees believe in what we do, providing a wonderful reason to support and partner with us. With your support, we can further our mission and change even more lives.

Brandon J. Poplar, a dedicated law studies major from Detroit, MI, and a rising junior at Delaware State University, has built a foundation in financial literacy and community support. Through opportunities like his externship with Bloomberg LP, an internship at Rocket Mortgage, and a fellowship with Harvard Business School, Brandon has developed a deep understanding of how financial tools can be used to benefit underserved communities. His involvement in the Midnight Golf Program and leadership roles at the National Urban League’s Business Executive Exchange Program highlight his commitment to giving back and making a positive impact.
