The food was so delicious with very delicate and attentive presentation. I had Matcha pancake with lemon curd, my husband had Salmon Nest which was very delicious with attention of details in both flavors and presentation. Price is reasonable too.

We arrived around 11 on Sunday and had to wait for 30 min to be seated, but it was completely worth it. A big choice of different meals from açaí bowls and yogourt to bacon avocado toasts. The food was great. We also could not finish the pancakes and asked the waiter to have them take away, they even provided the cutlery. I would definitely come back one more time!

Fauna & Flora greets you with smiles and great service. They follow up with special well thought out culinary offerings that taste delicious. The coffee is wonderful and the juices are fresh squeezed. All delivered for a very reasonable price. This is a fantastic feel good restaurant in Lisbon

Sadly, we had a very negative experience and will not be visiting again. My friend and I made a reservation and came to Flora & Fauna for breakfast. We saw the amazing pictures in the reviews and were full of anticipation when we arrived. Arrival: Upon our arrival, when it was still relatively empty in the restaurant, we were greeted by a staff member who already looked quite annoyed. When we said that we have a reservation, we were rudely sent back out to wait outside the restaurant - we understood, because corona, and stepped back outside. A few seconds later the server returned and brought us to our table. Cleanliness: We sat down at our table and immediately noticed that the table surface was sticky. Our menu and hands kept sticking to it, which made also our second impression a bit icky. I went over to another table to check and noticed that it was sticky too, so I think they are all pretty sticky. Also, I went to the bathroom and the bathroom floor was full of water. Food: We ordered two espressi and two toast nord with extra avocado. Each toast ended up to be 10€, a bit on the higher end for Lisbon breakfast but we still were so excited and didn’t mind paying a bit more. The toast contains ricotta cheese, salmon, arugula and eggs, but they were so soft boiled that they were still relatively raw and uncooked on the outside. They were also cold. When asked to cook the eggs a bit more, they declined our request. Because one of us had a sensitive stomach we asked them to please replace the eggs with scrambled eggs. For this we were charged 2.5€ extra. The food tasted okay - it looks nice on pictures but the taste is average at most and does not justify the price. The coffee: Our espressi were the most acidic coffee that we had both ever tasted, and we are foodies and coffee addicts, who drink a LOT of coffee. We were not able to finish our coffees because of how sour they tasted. Also, my request for sugar (I wanted to help the acidity) was ignored by the wait staff. Summary/Overall Experience: The staff was rude, the food was average, the coffee was bad (for our taste!) and the place was not clean. Maybe we had some bad luck and caught a bad day, but too many things didn’t go well for all of this to be just an accidental bad day. Overall I do not recommend this restaurant and suggest visitors to go to one of the many other amazing and hip (and friendly!) brunch places that Lisbon luckily has plenty of! You’ll have a much better time and probably even save money.

Chose this place because of gluten free options. I had the sandwich with brie, ham, egg and caramelized onions, which was really good! My company had the sandwich with salmon, egg and cream cheese, but because he needed the gluten free option it came with a slice of sweet potato instead of bread. He thought it tasted weird with the salmon, and it was also way too much cream cheese, which became too dominant. The smoothies was ok, nothing special. The ones we ordered had a greyish color because of the ingredients, so they didn't look very inviting, but taste was ok. All in all it was a nice place to have lunch, but the gluten free sandwich would be better with gluten free bread and not the sweet potato (and a lot less cream cheese). They had a tempting menu overall, so I would visit again to test out other options.

Ambiance is fine. Although I thought there were too many people on their laptops just sitting around occupying space, like I was in Starbucks. Best point is the service. Nice, helpful people. Food (although not expensive) is way below average. Hamburgers, both veggie and real, were not great. The manner the items are served is illogical. If I had waited more than a nanosecond for a table, I would have been particularly disappointed. Sorry.

Fauna and Flora is a breakfast/ brunch café and the menu offers a fantastic variety of delicious dishes with many vegan and vegetarian options. However, the restaurant is crowded and staff do their best to accommodate the long waiting line. We were seated under an umbrella on a rainy day. The food was delicious and served timely. I was not prepared for snarky comments when asking for milk and sugar for coffee and tea AND we got charged for '10 mls of milk'... which is ridiculous in my eyes. Not coming back.

The only good thing was to get out of this place ! Are the waitress sleeping or working ? We ordered a smothie bowl, we never received it. Order another cappuccino to a waitress never come, to another waitress come two cappuccino twenty mins after wtf. There’s no communication in this place,.The service was the worst service ever ! The pancakes where not well coocked by the way. If you order cold and hot food they will never arrive at the same time

This was an experience on top of brunch Restaurant was in excellent condition If you can only go to one place for brunch choose this place

As soon as we arrived they greeted us very nice! The food was very delicious. I very thing well made and beautiful presentation. I must say if you order smoothies they are not cold or frozen, it’s more like a room temperature. Comes in a relatively small glass cup and them I realized they put two big pieces of ice. The taste of the food made up for this, but I wouldn’t order smoothies again. That’s why I’m reviewing a 4 start. Also we waited 20 plus minutes to get someone to come to the table.

Long quest on Sunday mornings, but totally worth the wait. We tried the ‘Porto bacon’, ‘avocado toast’ and ‘guilty pancakes’. All very tasty but juice of the day, which was mango and peach was tasteless... ‘Porto bacon’ was out of this world!! Great atmosphere and cute interior.

Too expensive considering what is served. The place looks cool, but the tables have no distance between them and it’s too crowded. The juices are normal, but not valuable for the money, the ham toast had ham “topping” and the avocado nest is a big no no, the best part of the meal were definitely the pancakes. The service is slow and not very likeable … definitely not coming back

Not recommended, I got a berry yoghurt bowl that had a terrible taste, we ordered fresh orange juice, which has water added. The place itself is good and nice, but I do not recommend it in terms of breakfast. The price range is EUR 15-20 per person.

I was looking forward to eating at this popular breakfast place, and it was a bit out of my way, so I was hoping the journey would be with it. It started with a bad first impression as I was not greeted at the door or welcomed( they were not too busy) I asked to sit, the pointed me to a table. I sat for at least 5-10 minutes with no acknowledgment, or menu. While waiters walked by serving others ( they had to wait too) I asked someone, actually a customer who seemed like a regular if I should just grab a menu off the wall by the door? Is that how it works, my first time there and no one was offering to help or serve me. Then a server, I think she waits tables and works making the coffee, snapped at me even thinking to get my own menu after waiting almost 15 minutes without one, the nerve of me! She scolded me in Portuguese and said what menu to you want, Portuguese, French, Italian, english( knowing very well that I was American and that is why I was being treated this way. ) how would you know if you grabbed your own menu as she continued to talk about me in Portuguese to the other customer. I should have just left right then. I struggled to get service, they got my order wrong, I was too afraid to speak up, I overpaid for a mediocre breakfast. Nothing special about this place, unless you’re a local. Americans unwelcome here. I travel for a living, and rarely come across such rude behavior for no reason from a local restaurant, and rarely do I ever right bad reviews., this place deserved it.

We went here due to the good reviews and it was packed! The staff did an excellent job in managing the crowd and taking orders. The food however was average. The avocado on sourdough was a bit bland and the pancakes were heavy and sticky. The place is alright but hyped up to be better.
