My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The parking lot is small, but we found street parking for a short walk. The server brought us waters right away but failed to take a drink order. We ordered the appetizer platter, the dolmas, falafel and hummus were delicious. The gyros were filling with large pieces of meat. The tzatziki sauce was a little sweet from the yogurt base but overall it was a good gyro. The gyros were served with rice on the side. We had the baklava to go and enjoyed it the next day for breakfast. This is a great little spot to enjoy Mediterranean food.

Drove by this place and my wife decided she wanted to try it for dinner. I got the meat combo gyro with steak, chicken, and lamb and it was so delicious. I saved some for lunch tomorrow or Monday 😄 My wife got the gyro plate and she was delighted with the flavors. We will definitely come back and I highly recommend you get there soon.

I ordered the large greek salad with gyro. The salad was about the same size as what you get for 5.00atagasstation.Thegyromeatlookedlikeaslicedhamburger.Ithaddecentflavor,butthere′snothinglikegyrocutfromaspit.Itcamewithabout1ounceofdressing...foralargesalad.Itcostover5.00 at a gas station. The gyro meat looked like a sliced hamburger. It had decent flavor, but there's nothing like gyro cut from a spit. It came with about 1 ounce of dressing...for a large salad. It cost over 5.00atagasstation.Thegyromeatlookedlikeaslicedhamburger.Ithaddecentflavor,butthere′snothinglikegyrocutfromaspit.Itcamewithabout1ounceofdressing...foralargesalad.Itcostover16 with tax and tip, for what might be an $8 salad. I'll stick to barbecue and gas station salads until can find something better in KC.

Me and my girlfriend got Aladdin cafe for dinner. The hummus was really good! And the pita was also good. We got free baklava!

Me and my wife went there after seeing lots of good reviews on google, just to find it very disappointing. We ordered the Alaadin Feast. The quantity was very low and the food was mediocre. I love Middle Eastern food and I have had it in several cities across United States, this was the only restaurant I came across being stingy on the food quantity even after charging hefty for food. Will never go again here.

Lovely food, beautifully prepared. From the lentil soup to the baklava and everything in between-everything was superb!

We came here for an early dinner on Sunday and the place was pretty empty. We were served right away; food came out quickly. We had hummus and falafel for our appetizers, and both were delicious! We also had the beef and chicken kabobs which came with a bed of rice, grilled veggies, and a very refreshing side salad to start. Our only complaint was that there was only one kabob on each plate, we could have easily eaten 2 each. There was enough rice on each to feed a family of four though! The protein part seemed more of a lunch size portion for a dinner price. Overall, food was very tasty and authentic. The dining room was pretty cold though (for being 60 degrees outside surprisingly). Baklava was a nice treat! Be prepared to walk to the front to pay. We didn’t know what our total was going to be until we were up there (I could have done the math but since I didn’t know we weren’t getting an itemized receipt, I didn’t pay attention to the exact prices on the menu).

We took our sons ages 5, 7, and 12 and they ate pretty good. The soup that came as part of your meal was very yummy. The place is small and the service friendly. The decor was nice, but could have used some ethnic music for an added touch. Street parking close by. Great food!

We stopped for a quick bite that turned into dinner. We started with the Krass pastry plate, which is like Greek spanikopita: spinach and feta in phyllo dough, very nice. We also eenjoyed the eggplant parmesan as a side dish. The lamb chops, though, were the star of the show. They were so tender, I could cry. I wish I had gotten more sauce (for the rice), but otherwise just perfect. We left happy, full and wired on Turkish coffee.

This was the first time I and my guests had eaten here. We were all blown away. The service was wonderful, the food everything we had hoped for. My only regret was that I didn't have enough room for baklava.

I have never had a meal here that I regretted. Whether you want a vegetarian option or some great marinated meat, you will find something good here. I get the lentil soup every time, but the Turkish coffee is also very good. Also my favorite falafel in the area. It looks like a little hole in the wall, but it is my favorite restaurant in this area.

Stopped in for a quick bite as we drove past. We were not disappointed. The lamb kabab was perfect and the gyro was one of the best I’ve had. All priced quite reasonably. Also don’t miss a glass of refreshing mint lemonade. Well done!!

Stopped here after KU Med tests based upon reviews and the ‘Best of KC’ awards listed on their website. Sadly we only had enough time for takeout. That said, the gyros were the best we’ve ever tasted (which includes restaurants in multiple cities). Highly recommend! Next time we will schedule more time and dine in.

Where do I start? The appetizer and entrees were incredible!!! Not only was the hummus delicious, it was plated in the form of a beautiful flower. INCREDIBLE and so yummy!! My Greek salad was fresh and crisp with a cucumber dressing. That was probably my favorite! The Sumac Chicken and Gyro Platter were delish!!! I plan to be a regular customer when I am in the area... so many other things I want to try!!!
