I am so disappointed in Wells Fargo

I am so disappointed in Wells Fargo. I actually thought they cared about the community and the people in it.
My account was charged a recurring payment by a local merchant that I didn't authorize.
After speaking to the company, and they couldn't explain it, I decided to contact the bank. It has happened in the past and perhaps a glitch.
Being 69 yrs old, sick, and 99% home bound, my world is in my debit card. I order everything on line, from medicine to food to clothing. Because I chose to dispute the transaction, my debit card was cancelled. The bank wouldn't even expedite my new card because I didn't authorize the transactions
Now I can't buy food, get a cab or purchase anything.
They wouldn't even permit me to absorb the cost of expedition.
I must now sit here and wait while suffering in silence.
As a matter of fact, there have been a couple of arising problems with this bank of late.
You have to know when to leave and pursue other facilities.

They just do not care about your problem

We had a client allegedly (client says she didn't, Wells Fargo says she did) dispute a Zelle payment made to our office. Wells Fargo has cancelled our ability to receive payments via Zelle. After 3 days, all they tell me is I have to wait 24-48 hours for it to be assigned to someone to look into. Unbelievable, mean while we lose thousands of dollars a day. I called their executive office at 844-576-6424. Same thing, just sit and wait for a call. Makes me wonder why I have been with them this long. Terrible customer service

Worst bank

Worst bank, I have submitted a claim of transactions from another state that i didn't make, also ATM withdrawals. They didn't want to refund me, which is common sense i didn't do those transactions in another state when i live in california and used my card the same day they used it in another state.I'm canceling everything and moving to another bank, thanks alot wellsfargo.

I banked at Wells Fargo for 30+ years-…

I banked at Wells Fargo for 30+ years- and only by default because Norwest bought them out.

I had many run-ins with them over the years but this last stint caused me to move everything- business, personal, investing, etc. out of their control.
It's no secret that this bank has a nefarious history. They have been reprimanded by the government, class action lawsuits, etc.
It's not only the Rothchild-types that run the bank, their employees are dangerously under- qualified and uninformed about policies, procedures and proper banking.
I won't go into the gory details, I will just say that this bank caused me to lose $3,500 because of employee ineptitude. I raised hell- WF refused to give my money back.
I wrote to the Fed, the BBB, the cpbc and all I got from WF was a response saying "that the employee at fault was made aware of their mistake and won't do it again".

They inactivated a bank account I have…

They inactivated a bank account I have with them even though I have an active loan. Just a terrible experience and will never bank with WF again. I tried to leave feedback with a phone rep helping me with the problem and they don't even have a method for their CS team to take feedback to pass on. They also don't have an email/chat method on their website. Pretty easy to see how much they care about customers

If I could give a zero for Wells Fargo…Horrible Company

If I could give a zero for Wells Fargo Mortgage I would. I was told my automatic payment was turned off by me after 4 years of having it on and wasn't contacted by mail until a day after I received a negative mark on my credit reports. I was told they called, but were not allowed to leave a message. I paid it the day I received the negative remark and turned the automatic payment back on. (Which I never turned off) and asked for them to remove the negative remark since I had never been late on one payment. They told no and did not accept responsibility for their glitch. I will be closing out my loan with them and will never bank or use them for anything again.

A really awful experience

A really awful experience.
I'm a UK/US citizen. I've held a WF account for 10 plus years. I have a 'premier account'. I am purchasing a home and have to make a series of transfers to send money from US to UK.

I go to make a wire transfer, it gets flagged by fraud, i spend over 4 hours on the phone, 4 agents, before approved. Then they put another hold on it and then took it off, but it meant a day late, and lost quite a bit on an exchange rate and behind schedule with transactions. Then, the next day their was an unexpected daily limit block because it only counted from when they unlocked the hold, and though the wire transfer noted that if an urgent situation where need to make another transaction and to go to online banker or branch, after 2 hours, learn that it is only by branch. The reason, we are told, that the 24 clock can't be altered online is that it is automated, but that at the branch that automation can be changed, but when you ask how, it is that they change it online - in other words, technically speaking there is no reason it couldn't be an online service if you passed security, but it just isn't provided. So, then the next transfer is again a day late.

Bunch an incompetent and rude people…

Bunch an incompetent and rude people work over there!!!My automated payment didnt go thru couple times already even though i requested it every month on the 27th.I guess they decide how much they will take.I transffered amounts from other cards for a low apr for 15 months.I tried paying more automated for 200andinpersononthetellerfor200 and in person on the teller for 200andinpersononthetellerfor200.Somehow they decide how much i will pay.Instead of 200automateditonlytakes200 automated it only takes 200automateditonlytakes20.They tell me since I paid in person at the teller 180iamallowedonly180 i am allowed only 180iamallowedonly20 more dollars!!These people are insane rude over the phone swearing. Not much better at the bank itself. It is beyond belief that amateur bank like this can operate.I never had issue with pnc or byline bank.I paid more without problems but not these incompetent people there. They hire losers who laugh at you. When i mentioned 1 star and improvement needed they look at each other and smile!!!Cant wait to pay the balance off and never have anything to do with this bank.

What happened to good service?

I've been banking with Wells Fargo since the Wachovia merger. Was with Wachovia for years also. It's very sad to see the bank deteriorate. They closed the branch by my house on south monroe st. (Tallahassee FL), closed the atm at the Gate gas station on capital circle and Blairstone. Now the only locations on the Southside is an atm on FAMU campus and an atm at the piggly wiggly plaza that always has homeless people next to it. They really weren't thinking of the customers when they made these decisions. This will most likely be my last year banking with these guys

Wells Fargo Promises made... Never kept just promises made

Wells Fargo is famous for telling you to call a number to a telephone where if they feel like answering it they while 1/2 an hour " verifying you " after all of that they will do one of two things

1 Lie to you about what services they will provide you and charge you for while never actually doing it. Or
2. They will try to prevent you from access to your own account.
Think of Wells Fargo as a bankers charity because you may never see your account again

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I cant believe they dont train their employees better. The way my issue was handled was a text book case of what not to do in customer service. All they do do is deflect and play the blame game. There is nothing from their side on how to resolve an issue just that its not their fault. They call and never leave a message so you never know when they call if you have anti spam on your phone. i have never dealt with people who are less helpful in my life. Do not put you rmoney here or use them for anything to do with banking.

Wells Fargo exploits trust

Wells Fargo epitomizes the intersection of both deceit and dysfunction. My ongoing experience with them has been appalling—untrustworthy practices, outright theft, and a complete disregard for their customers. This is the same bank that’s been embroiled in scandal after scandal, from creating millions of fake accounts to defrauding their own clients. If you're considering banking with them, run in the opposite direction. Wells Fargo doesn’t just mismanage money; they exploit trust. Stay far, far away.

Terrible customer service, WF downhill

Been with WF for about 2 decades….Tried to make a purchase with my Active Cash Visa card from Wells Fargo…they blocked it for fraud, I went through all the security protocols, sent them my ID to verify, and they said it would clear for a purchase. Tried it again, blocked my account and I called fraud prevention again….spoke to the rudest and absolutely disrespectful representatives….they then proceed to tell me “We can’t help you go into a branch.” I asked why? Her response….”I just told you, go to a branch.” Card is locked, no representatives would help along with them being rude as I have ever dealt with. Absolutely disgusting experience as if they are doing me a favor with me spending my money with them….that account and card will sit idle forever. I would never ever do business with such a poor company ever again. Pathetic what Wells Fargo turned in to.

I have been banking with Wells Fargo…

I have been banking with Wells Fargo since 2016 I have never once had problems getting a new card no one in the office couldn't help they won't use to call a customer service that is a representative. I can't understand what the representative saying they sound so far away and can't speak clearly, but they both helped me. I had to speak to 2 representative just to cancel 2 transactions. Its been 7 days I haven't received a new bank card. I hope things can clear up and get better im still continued with this bank just for a back up.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. The staff in my branch are great that's why 1 star.
Customer wrote a check for his fleet repairs. I Deposited the checks. On Dec 14 and the funds won't be ready until the 26th Dec. My customer and I looked. Wellsfargo had already taken money out of his account . It shows Deposited on my end but not accessible . I called customer service and they said they were holding it to prevent fraud. So basically accusing me of fraud in front of my customer . Thanks for ruining Christmas. Will be closing the account once the funds are released .

No Customer Loyalty or Preference

I’ve been banking with them for 10 years (2014) with no issues. I also have a fully paid off 5k credit card with them. I was denied for a personal loan rate check. Not even the real application, just the free “rate check”. Wow , very disappointing . After 10 years of being a customer I expected I could atleast get approved for a free “rate check”. It’s a crying shame

THE ABSOLUTE WORST BANKING EXPERIENCE I…

THE ABSOLUTE WORST BANKING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN 47 YEARS. I was given a cashiers check by one of WFs members for an item they bough from me. The check ended up being to large for an ATM to accept, but since I had already signed it WF would not: 1. reissue the check so I could deposit in a physical branch, 2. They wouldn't cash the check themselves since they can see the funds were still in the account, 3. They wouldn't hold the check for a week to prove it had not already been cashed. They can clearly see the money still in the hold account and said 90 days had to pass for the check to be voided and reissued. what a horrible bank.
