🎉 Your Free English Language Courses Begin in 2025!

We’re thrilled to announce that two levels of English courses—Beginner and Intermediate—will start on Saturday, 18 January 2025. These 6-week courses, exclusively for UVW members, are designed to help you build confidence in everyday communication at work and beyond.

📅 Every Saturday from 18 January to 22 February 2025 (inclusive)
⏰ 9:30am – 12:30pm
🏠 Casa UVW, 144 Cambridge Heath Road, London E1 5QJ

Both courses are free, bespoke, and led by experts from City Lit, Europe’s largest centre for adult education. Upon completing the course, you’ll receive a City Lit certificate.

📝 What You’ll Learn:

Speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for everyday life and work.
Grammar practice: present simple, past simple, present continuous, and future forms.
Describing and comparing objects and pictures.
Listening for details in short conversations and recordings.
Writing formal and informal short emails or letters.
Using punctuation, spelling, and completing simple forms.
Reading and understanding different types of texts for key information.
