Introducing the International Best-Dressed List 2017 Hall of Fame (original) (raw)

The 20th-century fashion icon Eleanor Lambert founded _Vanity Fair_’s International Best-Dressed List in 1940, and in 2002 bequeathed the list to four Vanity Fair editors. This year, the committee reviewed thousands of ballots received from around the globe, and the ensuing 2017 List combines an eclectic mix of leaders from the worlds of business, politics, fashion, and more, ranging from emerging talent to established figures.

Best-Dressed honorees displaying enduringly exceptional style throughout the ages earn a prestigious spot on the I.B.D.L. Hall of Fame; this year, the Hall of Fame welcomes three new members: Jeremy Irons, Lauren Hutton, and Lauren Santo Domingo.
