The Borderlands series consists of the following mainline releases:

• Borderlands - 6 million+
• Borderlands 2 - 29 million
• Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
• Borderlands 3 - 20 million

In 2015 a compilation was released, called Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, which included the middle two games in the series and all associated downloadable content.

On top of that there have also been a couple of spin-off entries, namely:

• Borderlands Legends
• Tales from the Borderlands
