The races were started by Dylan (Principality Building Society’s mascot) and Buddy (the NSPCC’s mascot). The NSPCC also put on zoo yoga and a special story time session at their stand.

On Sunday, October 6 the capital will hold the 21st edition of the Principality Cardiff Half Marathon where more than 27,500 people have registered to take part. The event has grown significantly since it was founded by Barnardo’s in 2003 when 1,500 runners took part.
