Tyler Pager is a White House reporter at The Washington Post. In 2022, he won the Gerald R. Ford Journalism Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency. He joined The Post in 2021 after covering the White House at Politico and the 2020 presidential campaign at Bloomberg News. He graduated as the valedictorian from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where he served as the editor in chief of the Daily Northwestern. He also graduated with distinction from the University of Oxford, where he earned a master’s degree in comparative social policy.
