Megaromania (メガロマニア) は、2008年にUNDER CODE PRODUCTIONよりデビューした5人組のヴィジュアル系・ヘヴィメタルバンドである。2013年に解散。[1]

• Vocal：翠 -Sui- (1.24生誕。血液型不明)
• Guitar：美沙麗 -Misery- (4.29生誕。A型)
• Guitar：蜘影 -Chikage- (1.8生誕。B型)
• Bass：氷牙 -Hyoga- (10.16生誕。AB型)
• Drums：邑詩 -yushi- (5.25生誕。A型) (2011年に加入)

旧メンバー

• Drums：憐蛇-Leda- (2010年に脱退)[2]

ヒストリー

元Metis Gretel(2004年～2008年に関東で活動していたインディーズヴィジュアル系バンド)の翠と美沙麗を中心に「創造の美学」をコンセプトとして2008年3月に結成される。後に氷牙と蜘影と憐蛇が加入。

UNDER CODE PRODUCTION所属となり同年の6月1日からライヴ活動を開始。

バンド名である「Megaromania」とは「誇大妄想」という意味を持つ言葉であり、ヴォーカルの翠曰く、「現実ではあたかも起こりえないことを現実のように錯覚させるというか、現実世界とはかけ離れたものを現実世界にしてしまうような、そういうミステリアスな感じを出したい。」との思いがあるとのこと。

またUNDER CODE所属という縁で、UNDER CODE創始者のKISAKIに纏わる名前を付けたいとの考えもあり、KISAKIのバンドの一つであるSyndromeの「Megaromania」という曲名からKISAKIに許可を取り、前述の翠のポリシーにも通じるバンド名「Megaromania」が正式に決まる。

2010年3月にドラムの憐蛇が脱退し、その後のバンドのサポートドラマーとして活動していた邑詩が2011年1月に加入。

デビュー以来コンスタントに楽曲を発表しライブ活動を行い、2012年にはヨーロッパツアーも開催されたが、5th Anniversaryとなる2013年7月31日に渋谷O-EASTワンマンライブをもって解散。

バンド解散後、翠、美沙麗、邑詩はKISAKIのバンド、凛「第二章」に加入。凛「第二章」活動休止後、翠はソロアーティスト「翠(SUI)」、ソロプロジェクト「David(ダヴィデ)」、ヴィジュアル系バンド「CULA(キュラ)」のヴォーカルとして活動中。

2017年11月11日に、一日だけの復活ライブが高田馬場CLUB PHASEで開催された。[3]
