Australian City Design College, Level 7 - 118 King William Street, Adelaide, is celebrating Adelaide Italian Festival 2024. Join 2 days of intriguing showcase of Italian short films, featuring two exceptional works that explore deep and thought-provoking themes.

This powerful film tells the story of Lisa, a young girl blinded by her father’s violence during the murder of her mother. Now running an investigative podcast amidst widespread distrust, Lisa finds herself increasingly successful. This poignant short film addresses the theme of violence against women and has garnered significant acclaim, including:

In this thought-provoking film, friends and co-workers Vittoria, Jim, and Francesco lead monotonous lives dictated by an alienating workplace. Their only escape is through brief, virtual vacations provided by the Dream Sol Holidays agency, where AI technology offers a temporary escape from their reality. L’allarme” will be presented at the prestigious 81st Venice International Film Festival.
Both films are written by Fabrizio Capigatti, who will participate in a discussion after the screenings, providing insights into the making of these impactful stories.
