The process is a little different for each carrier, but this wikiHow article will guide you through the basic steps to get your phone activated with any carrier.

Easiest Way to Activate a Cell Phone

Log into your carrier’s website, select the line you want to activate the device on, and enter the IMEI number for your phone. You can find the IMEI number by dialing *#06# on your phone. If you’re having trouble activating your phone online, call your carrier or visit a retail outlet for further assistance.
