We are network of engineers and consultants for granular (DEM), solid (FEM) and fluid (CFD) mechanics. We find joy in tasks where human intuition, sound mathematical description and computerized number-crunching are in synergy, and result in physically correct understanding and illustrative visual outputs.

The following numerical methods are used to study the behavior of the problem at hand, and for optimizing its parameters:

• Discrete Element Method (DEM) simulations, mainly based on the eponymous open-source software WooDEM, which is extremely flexible in both pre-processing and post-processing of non-trivial simulations. Typical problems include dynamics of granular materials such as sieving, segregation, chutes.
• Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) simulations, especially for air flow: in industrial cooling ducts, electrostatic precipitators and many others; coupling with heat transfer is often required.
• Finite Element Method (FEM) for various type of material processes including damage, both for homogeneous and heterogeneous materials, often with heat involved. Some of the typical applications would be refractory lining with hot air flow.

We further offer expertise with data acquisition systems, such as laser profilers, high-speed cameras, Lidar sensors:

• variety industrial and consumer protocols: GigEVision, genIcam, Bluetooth Low Energy, raw network sockets, …;
• real-time signal processing;
• creating industrial gateways using OPC/UA, MQTT, industrial buses;
• designing integrated solutions suitable for 24/7 operation in industrial environments.
