The mission of the City's Office of Communications & Marketing in the Office of Mayor Keith A. James is to ensure that the media, citizens and city employees have access to accurate, timely information from the City of West Palm Beach. The Office works to ensure community interests, public awareness, and safety are being served through real-time public service messaging and emergency notifications. The Office is responsible for managing city communications platforms, including traditional and new media, website, WPB-TV, marketing initiatives, internal communications, social media and more. It is our goal to keep everyone informed, connected, and engaged. If you have general questions or media requests, we are here to help!

SaferWatch
See Something - Show Something!
The West Palm Beach Police Department has joined with the national SaferWatch program to encourage residents to download this mobile app designed to help tell police of suspicious activity. The app, available through the Apple Store or Google Play platform, allows users to take a snapshot, video or send a real-time message to West Palm Beach dispatchers. The 9-1-1 dispatchers would then relay the live video, photo or text to officers in the area. It provides a record of the person and makes it easier for police to identify the suspect.

Homeless Activity Reporter
Homeless Activity Reporter - Notify the City when and where non-emergency assistance to the homeless population or to address homelessness is needed.
Clean Streets Ticketing Portal
The "Clean Streets" Ticketing Portal (Public Works) is an online portal that allows you to report needed street repairs, request trash containers and much more.

Kanopy

Emergency Communications
In the event of an emergency, disaster or hurricane, being informed is key to staying safe.
AlertPBC & PBC DART
The City of West Palm Beach Division of Emergency Management, in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Division of Emergency Management, recommends you:
- Sign up for "AlertPBC", the Palm Beach County Emergency Notification System, which sends text, email or voice alerts to your phone. Click here to sign up for AlertPBC!
- Download the Palm Beach County Disaster Awareness and Recovery Tool (PBC DART), which provides residents with information and tools used to prepare for a disaster and with the ability to report damage to their home or business in the immediate aftermath of a disaster. The City of West Palm Beach Division of Emergency Management works with local, state, and federal agencies to prepare for disasters and coordinates response with the Palm Beach County Division of Emergency Management, which manages the AlertPBC and PBC Dart systems.

The Office of Communications & Marketing is responsible for distributing eNotify email alerts, an email notifying you about updates to the City's website. You may sign up for alerts on various topics, including news, events, sustainability, road closures, and more! Sign up for Email Updates.
WPB-TV
The Office of Communications & Marketing oversees WPB-TV, the City of West Palm Beach's official television station. Programming includes public meetings, public service announcements and news coverage of local events and happenings. Residents may watch WPB-TV on cable or on internet-connected devices.
On cable, WPB-TV can be found on local Comcast channel 18 and on Hotwire channel 99.
Online, you can watch live on the City website or watch WPB-TV on YouTube.

Expanding Access
- Non-English Speaking Communications: The Office of Communications and Marketing is committed to providing equitable access to information for non-English speakers. Of note, the City website is translatable into more than 90 different languages through most web browsers. The City provides a monthly electronic newsletter in Spanish, called Que Pasa, West Palm Beach? To subscribe, please visit our sign-up page.
- People may also follow updates on our Spanish language Facebook page: @CityofWestPalmBeachEnEspanol. The Mayor's Liaison to the Hispanic Community, Armando Fana, Assistant City Administrator, can be contacted at (561) 822-1400.
- Hearing Loop Technology: The Office of Communications and Marketing is expanding access for hard-of-hearing citizens. Hearing Loop System technology has been installed at City Hall. This hearing assistive technology will allow visitors with telecoil- or T-coil-enabled hearing aids, cochlear implants, and headphones to hear speech clearly and directly without any background noise. The technology is available at these City Hall locations: lobby/security desk, City Commission Chambers, and Flagler Gallery. The City is exploring the expansion of the hearing loop system at additional City facilities.
- 'Closed Captioning:' Closed captioning of video produced by the City is provided on WPB-TV, YouTube, and Facebook.
- ADA Coordinator: The ADA Coordinator in the Division of Risk Management facilitates assistance for residents and visitors who are disabled through the provision of auxiliary aids and services for City meetings, programs, and events. The ADA Coordinator also investigates and seeks to resolve any complaints regarding accessibility to City facilities and programs. To contact the ADA Coordinator:
